IVD Tests

Ekoweb Ltd. concentrates on rapid tests (so called POC, point-of care, tests) and IVD (in vitro -diagnostic) products:

Special Offer

Troponin I rapid

Today we are in the position to offer you one-step immunochromatographic Troponin I rapid test devices for acute myocardial infarction (AMI). The Troponin I Test Device can be performed using whole blood (from venipuncture or also finger stick), serum or plasma. The specificity of this test is 98.4% and sensitivity is 98.5% with accuracy 98.5%. The test result can be read within 10 minutes.

Urine test strips

Mission™ Urine test strips are rapid tests, which can define urines glucose, protein, pH, ketone, nitrite, leukocyte, bilirubin, urobilinogen and ascorbic acid levels and its specific weight. These properties are defined by comparing the test strip to a color chart or with a scanning device. Read More...

Bacteriology

CE, Quality system certified ISO 9001 and ISO 13485

Chlamydia IgG & IgA Dipstick Test

Immunoassay based on recombinant antigens for the qualitative determination of IgG and IgA antibodies against Chlamydia trachomatis, Chlamydia pneumoniae and Chlamydia psittaci in human serum.
recombinant antigens:
C. trachomatis: MOMP, OMP2, HSP60, MIP
C. pneumoniae: MOMP, OMP2, OMP4, OMP5
C. psittaci: MOMP
Chlamydia IgG & IgA strips can be used one by one with or without Western blot automat.
Sensitivity: C.trachomatis 94 – 100%, C. pneumoniae 87 – 100%
Specificity: C. trachomatis 100%, C. pneumoniae 96%
Results in 2 hours
Shelf Life 12 months

Syphilis Dipstick Test

Sensitivity 100% ; Specificity 100%
One step procedure, results in 15 minutes
Shelf Life 18 months

Anti-lipoidal antibodies in Syphilis

The RPR (Rapid Plasma Reagin) macroscopic non Treponemal flocculation card test for the detection and quantitation of anti-lipoidal antibodies in serum and plasma during syphilis.
Qualitative and quantitative methods
Test sample do not require heat inactivation
Sensitivity 100%; Specificity 100%
Results in 8 minutes
Shelf life 12 months

Treponema pallidum haemagglutination test

Treponema pallidum haemagglutination test for the serodiagnosis of Syphilis.
Qualitative and quantitative results 45 minutes of sedimentation at room temperature
Can be done with serum without heat activation.
Sensitivity 99,6%; Specificity 98,5%
Test Kit contains test cells, control cells, positive and negative control

Borrelia Ig test

A rapid immunochromatographic device test for detection of total Ig antibodies against 3 species of Borrelia burgdorferi (B. burgdorferi sensu stricto, B. afzelii and B. garinii), causing Lyme borrelosis, in serum.
IgG appear about 10 weeks after the infection. IgG are absent in 50% of cases in the early stage. Their rate increase in the secondary stage and they are always present in the tertiary stage. They can be detected as long as the symptoms persist. IgM can be detected quickly (about 2 weeks after the infection). Their rate decrease quickly and they are not constantly present in the secondary and tertiary stages.
Within 3 to 6 weeks, Borrelia burgdorferi antibodies are produced and keep increasing for several months. A serologic testing in Lyme disease can be performed to detect Borrelia burgdorferi antibodies in serum.
Qualitative and quantitative results, detection of total Ig
Use of a mixture of native antigens (B31 strain) and recombinant proteins (proteins OspC, BmpA and p88/100 of the B31 strain)
Sensitivity: Global sensitivity 80%
Early stage sensitivity 60%
Secondary stage sensitivity 76%
Late stage sensitivity 100%
Specificity: 94% on a population of healthy blood donors
One step test, results in 10 to 20 minutes
Shelf life 12 months

Borrelia burgdorferi IgG & IgM Dipstick Test

Immunoblot strip test for the detection of IgG and IgM antibodies against Borrelia Burgdorferi in human serum or plasma.
Specific recombining antigens of the 3 genospecies : B. burgdorferi sensu stricto, B. afzelii, B. garinii which allows the identification of the specific antibodies for the 3 spices.
Optimization of the quantity of each antigens in particular for the antigens under-represented in the Western Blot system (example : p100, p 39, p18 and mainly OspC)
2 proposed protocols:
short: 2 h of serum incubation
long: overnight incubation of serum
Internal control of the reaction
Specificity: IgG 94%, IgM 97,5%
Shelf Life 12 months

Streptococcus A Dipstick Test

Immunochromatographic rapid dipstick test for the detection of Strep A antigen in throat swabs specimens to aid in the diagnosis of group A streptococcal infection.
Streptococus pyogenes which contains the lance field group A antigen that can cause serious infections such as pharyngitis, respiratory infection, endocarditis, meningitis and arthritis. Rapid diagnosis and early antibiotic therapy of group A Streptococcal infection appear to be the best means of preventing medical complications and reducing the spread of the disease.
Sensitivity 96,8% ; Specificity 94,7%
Negative predictive value 98,9%
Quality control: positive and negative control provided
Result in 5 minutes
Shelf Life 18 months

Immunochromatographic rapid test for semi-quantitative detection of anti tetanus toxin antibodies in serum or whole blood.
Sample: serum, plasma, venous or capillary whole blood.
Rapid : results in 5 minutes
Long shelf life : 18 months
Presence of two bands shows two different detection limit :
1st band : detection limit 0.1 IU/ml on serum and 0.2 IU/ml on whole blood,
2nd band : detection limit 0.5 IU/ml on serum and 1.0 IU/ml on whole blood.
